Only recently, WhatsApp treated iOS users to some exciting new features that android is still waiting on. It seems only apt that Android users get first dibs, though. But if WhatsApp current feature-in-testing becomes a reality, it won't be long until there's a much easier way to make your messages pop. However, it's not the most straightforward trick of the thumb; you have to do *this* to write in bold, _this_ to write text in italics, and ~this~ to adda strikethrough.

WhatsApp makes it easier to apply text formatting
The social messaging app, WhatsApp in an interesting turn of events has rolled out two updates for its users. New updates include changing the font style of a word and finding emojis in the app with much ease. The company has also previously announced that it is updating its platform so that users can send any type of file. It is to be noted here that these new features are only available to android users, iOS users have to wait for these updates.
