referring to WhatsApp is planning new changes with its next update which are set to completely change the way you use the app. Each effect requires a different key pattern to enable it, such as *bold* for bold and _italic_ for italic. The Facebook-owned messaging service currently lets you addbold, italic and strikethrough effects to texts. The release date for the new update as well as any additional features is still unknown, but it marks the latest in a series of changes to the popular messaging app. WhatsApp 2.17.148 is currently in its Beta testing stage, but it is only available on android although it is likely to come to iPhones in the future.
