The Facebook-owned messaging service is reportedly testing the ability to edit or recall messages that have already been sent. WhatsApp is also reportedly testing a feature that may remind you of Snapchat's "Stories." The feature was first spotted by Twitter account @WABetaInfo, which tracks features that WhatsApp is testing across platforms. It will enhance the current "status" feature, where users can adda picture with a caption or doodle that disappears after 24 hours.

WhatsApp could decide not to ship these features, as they're part of a beta test, but a revoke message feature would certainly be a welcome addition to the messaging service. Twitter account @WABetaInfo, that regularly tracks new WhatsApp features, discovered the addition in recent beta copies of WhatsApp. If you've ever sent a drunk or mistaken text over WhatsApp then you'll be glad the service is considering a new option to correct poor life decisions.
Not only does the new update let WhatsApp know where you are at any given moment – but it will allow let your contacts see your current location, too. WhatsApp is also expected to disable the Live Location Tracking feature by default, so you're not sharing your location with strangers without realising it. But Live Location Tracking isn't the only new WhatsApp feature on the horizon.
