(NASDAQ:FB) has finally decided to stop collecting data of those using its WhatsApp messaging app.After speculation revealed that the social platform was unethically collecting users' private data and details without their consent, the company has finally stopped this practice across Europe for the time-being.Considering that WhatsApp's CEO, Jan Koum, faced immense backlash from European data collection authorities regarding the data collection plan, it's no surprise that the company had to eventually succumb to pressure.
