WhatsApp has released a new update for its Windows Phone app to version 2.16.256.The update is a mere 5 days after the last very large one, and does not bring new features, but does offer fixes and refinements to the app.The last update, to version 2.16.140 brought OneDrive integration for backups, which essentially allows users to back up their chat history and messages, which they can restore after resetting their phone or getting a new phone, along with support for GIFs and also an improved set of emojis.
