After Instagram copied Snapchat's Stories feature, WhatsApp also borrowed Snapchat's doodle feature for images.WhatsApp rolled out the doodle feature for its Android users a couple of weeks ago.Now, the feature has been rolled for WhatsApp for iOS users as well.

After porting photo editing and doodle features from Snapchat to their own messaging app on Android, WhatsApp is now updating its iOS app to introduce these features to iPhone, iPad users.These doodle features that existed in beta versions for quite sometime, were introduced to the stable version of the Android app just last month.This update updates the native camera integration within the app to introduce new and improved camera features that'll allow you to write text, doodle, and add emojis to photos or videos.
WhatsApp For iOS Now Lets Users Draw On Photos And Videos
Earlier this month, WhatsApp released an update for its Android app that allowed users to edit their photos and videos by drawing on them.This lets users customize their photos and videos more with funny drawings or messages, a feature that seems to be bringing WhatsApp closer to Snapchat's features.The good news is that if you are an iOS user, it looks like the update has finally made its way onto your platform a good two weeks after its Android release, which we guess in hindsight isn't that long of a wait.
